After 21 meetings there remains no clear favourite to join an illustrious group who have claimed the title.
James Innes Jnr and Deanne Panya currently co-lead the premiership with 23 points apiece following the latter’s winner on Tuesday at Kembla.
There is no shortage of apprentices in the chasing pack with Travis Wolfgram and Lestor Grace in the mix.
Kembla-based Brock Ryan might also make a run at the crown, which was won by Jess Taylor a season ago.
Ryan has notched up four winners at the past three meetings.
His latest came on Orcym Sam on Tuesday in the Canadian Club Class 2 (1400m) for boss Gwenda Markwell.
“He jumped well and was exactly where I wanted him to be,” Ryan said.
“I waited until we straightened up and the run presented in front of me.”
