The Australian Country star and his Oak Flats clubmate Ben Mitchell will play for the Bush Blues against a visiting provincial side from Canterbury.
‘’To play a first class match against a team from New Zealand is a huge thrill.
‘’It’ll be one of the biggest games I’ve been involved in,’’ Arblaster said.
It will be the first time the Bush Blues have gathered together to play a match outside of the annual Australian Country Cricket Championships since they took on a Sydney XI in 2007 as part of the State League Cup.
That 2007 Bush Blues side was spearheaded by Tamworth-based Australian Test and one day opening bowler Josh Hazlewood.
The bowling attack also included Mark Cameron and Michael Hogan, who played first class cricket.
