Current Illawarra division coach Wade Forrester will take charge of the All-Stars while new Cutters coach Jason Demteriou will oversee his first match as head coach.
The All-Stars will be bolstered by the likes of Country and Collegians captain Jarrod Thompson and Helensburgh premiership-winning skipper Steve McCallum but will mostly be made up of the competition’s rising stars.
Illawarra Rugby League general manager Chris Bannerman said the clash was a good chance to give young players their first taste of rep football.
“It’s something different and apart from being a good hitout for the Cutters it’s also a good opportunity for our blokes,” Bannerman said.
“It will allow some of the younger guys who may not have had a crack at representative football to test themselves at that level.”
