The former Hunter horseman moved to the region with partner Lauren Panella on Sunday just in time for this Saturday’s Group 1 races at the Tabcorp Park.
Mach Beauty, Easy On The Eye, Suave Stuey Lombo and Arms Of An Angel are all set to contest Group 1’s on their new home track.
‘‘We have only got a minute drive to the track so we are hoping that they horses might enjoy that a little more,” Tritton said.
‘‘Hopefully they might be a bit improved for it.’’
Tritton is targeting the Group 1 Miracle Mile later this month with Mach Beauty contesting the Cordina Chicken Farms Sprint (1609m) and Easy On The Eye and Suave Stuey Lombo racing in the Coca-Cola Amatil Sprint (1609m).
A top-three finish is key to securing a passage to the race.
‘‘They are good milers and at the end of the day we wanted to try and get them through to the Miracle Mile,” Tritton said.
‘‘It is pretty much the only way that we can do it these days.’’
Arms Of An Angel will run in the Group 1 Chariots Of Fire.
