Coury admitted to rubbing the boy’s back and stomach and groping his buttocks and penis on at least four occasions in the mid-to-late 2000s.
The 50-year-old pleaded guilty to four indecent assault charges in Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday, prompting prosecutors to a further seven charges.
Documents presented to the court said the abuse had left the teen feeling “scared and lonely”.
He told police he’d also been “embarrassed” by what had occurred, resulting in him not reporting the matter to authorities until December 2014.
During the police investigation, the victim confronted Coury about the assaults in a recorded phone call, telling him “I didn’t deserve that….how old was I?”
Coury responded “yeah, you didn’t, I agree with you”.
Coury remains on bail and will be sentenced on April 1.
