Brett Morris has overcome injury problems and Josh the heartache of grand final defeat to be reunited for Australia against New Zealand next week.
The Dragons flyer has spent the past month recovering from back and hamstring issues after St George Illawarra crashed out of finals contention.
Australian coach Tim Sheens called Brett (pictured right) last week to confirm he would be available when the team was named yesterday.
For twin brother Josh, it was a timely boost after an outstanding season ended with the bitter blow of Sunday's NRL grand final loss to Melbourne at ANZ Stadium.
It will be just the second time the pair have combined since lining up for Australia in the 2009 Four Nations campaign, where they ran riot against France, each scoring a double.
"Pumped to be named in the Aussie side along with JMOZ for his first test on Australian soil," Brett said on Twitter yesterday.
The Mercury sought an interview with Brett yesterday, but club officials did not return calls.
Morris was among a group of Dragons players who originally withdrew from the Australian train-on squad because of injury concerns.
However, missing the finals has allowed him significant recovery time to return to the Test arena.
Their father Steve - the last player from NSW Country to play for Australia when selected from Dapto in 1978 - said he expected Josh and Brett to be at their best playing alongside each other.
"When they played together in France they were dynamite," Steve said.
"They don't get to play alongside each other too often these days, but I'm sure they'll combine well again.
"I'm very proud of both of them."
Josh has scored three tries in two internationals, while Brett has a remarkable Test record with 11 tries in 10 appearances.
Canterbury star and Kiama junior Josh, who left the Dragons at the end of 2008, has crossed the line 17 times this year but just once in his last 10 games - and was tryless throughout the finals.
Steve said Australian selection was a boost for Josh and he would bounce back from the grand final loss. "He's disappointed, but he's had a great season," Steve said.
"There's no doubt he deserves his Test spot and it's really good to see them both back there together.
"I think they'll really enjoy playing alongside each other again, it will be fun and games.
"You can't really say either of them have had a bad game this year and hopefully they have another big one [against NZ]."
