Cannabis crop found in South Coast state forest

Almost 200 cannabis plants have been discovered in a state forest on the South Coast.

Police seized 189 plants from the Yerriyong State Forest at Tomerong on Tuesday, as well as cannabis-cultivation equipment.

It’s estimated the plants have a street value of more than $378,000.

Detectives are still working to identify who is behind the crop.
