Two police officers were injured after attending a domestic dispute in Windang this morning.
The officers from Lake Illawarra Area Command attended the Wattle Street home around 11am and were injured during the arrest of a 28-year-old man.
Both officers were taken to Shellharbour Hospital where one was treated for a suspected fractured hand and the other for a minor head injury.
A 28-year-old man was charged with obstructing officers in the execution of their duty. He is due to appear at Port Kembla Local Court on October 24.
