A star on court mild-mannered, Lisch was ranked as a firm outsider for MMMVP honours while Tyson Demos was the short-priced favourite according to the Mercury’s sports desk.
Forman was an each-way bet but he put up Kevin White as the man to be beat while Davidson’s considerable staying power made him the dark horse.
“Tyson’s been a bit crook the last few days so I’m not sure how he’ll come through,” Forman said.
“The only thing that will keep Kevin White down is the fact that he started Mad Monday on Saturday so that might co me back to hurt him.
“Larry’s always the one with longevity. I think he sleeps at Steelers on Monday night so he’s a chance.
“There could be a dark horse I don’t know but those two guys are probably the ones to beat.”
