Fury enjoy moment before next challenge

FOOTBALL

Illawarra Premier League champion coach Norm Boardman said Dapto Dandaloo officials will take their time to assess next season's playing roster after reflecting on the grand final win over Bulli.

"I don't look too far past the next week," he said.

"We'll obviously contact the boys next week to see where they're at. The majority of them will be back, some might decide to move on."

It was fitting "Usain Bolt" turned up to Dapto Dandaloo's Silly Sunday celebrations last week because, like the fastest man on earth, no-one appears capable of catching the Fury after their 3-1 win.

Enjoying the fruits of a season which yielded a pre-season, league and grand final treble, Dapto Dandaloo's now have the task of re-energising their club which won six of the seven trophies on offer on the local front this season.

Now the inevitable questions will be about what sort of line-up the Fury will boast next season and Ceccoli said he wasn't tired of winning almost every available trophy.

"If you saw my reaction after the game - never [tired of winning]," he said.

"You play to win ... to succeed and if you lose that desire you shouldn't be playing any more and I definitely haven't lost that. desire."
