So I wonder if he could find funds to repair the pavements in Berkeley. It's a community about 10km south of Wollongong where there are broken pavements.
I know this because I pass over a broken section that sticks up at about 60cm at it's highest point every day.
What will it take to get these sort of accident spots fixed?
Perhaps someone getting badly injured and suing the council.
Come on Mr Mayor show a bit of Christian charity for the rest of those in your council area.

Tax office please explain
Panama has a long history of registering all types of shipping under a Flag of Convenience, and most maritime inquiries go no further than the back of the ship.
Now we have more information than ever before, where dirty money can find a safe harbor well beyond the reach of International law.
The Australians who own and control these accounts should either transfer their dirty money back to Australia or have their Australian Citizenship terminated.
We would be better off laundering the owners of these illegitimate accounts than the dirty money itself.
The Taxation Office itself owes all Australians an explanation as to why it took a major leak to reveal so much information.
Privacy should no longer go on protecting these tax cheats.

Lamerton House rethink
We the ratepayers of Shellharbour have just been through a 40 per cent increase in rates over four years now you want to increase our rates again to pay for a building that you claimed all along was fully funded.
There has never been a mention of an increase in rates to pay for a building under the guise of general infrastructure maintenance that is only wanted by most councillors and the administrative staff of council. The rate payers have repeatedly in a number of forums said they do not want this legacy.
The only legacy that the rate payers will have is the 20 year loan. No doubt the mayor and councillors will not be living in the area after they are thrown out of office at the next election to also endure the pain of their legacy.
If Lamerton House is not big enough then maybe a reduction in senior and mid level administration staff might in order.

Motorists to pay
WestConnex, when built, will suck up motorists from the outer western suburbs of Sydney and dump them at the back door of Sydney airport.
The WestConnex is of little concern to the government.
The main objective of the NSW Government is the millions of dollars to be made from building multi-story apartments on government/developer owned land on both sides or in the vicinity of the motorway.
That’s it – toll paying motorist will pay for the motorway – whilst corporations and government fatten their bank accounts.

B-Double tankers a danger
While fuel tankers in the suburbs are a necessity until more of us go renewable, B-Double tankers are also looked upon as quite normal and necessary by the powers that be.
How long before the next B-Double fuel tanker crash simulates one of the overseas catastrophic terrorist attacks we’ve so far been able to avoid?
One can only hope we don’t wait for this potentially possible, inbuilt, catastrophic accident before a return to the safer, more maneuverable semi-trailer tankers.
