Second-time fatherhood obviously sits well with Hawks forward Glen Saville.

Playing his first NBL game since the birth of his second son Flynn in July, Saville scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Hawks to last Friday's narrow win over Sydney.

Flynn is brother to Saville's two-year-old son Riley.

"I'm loving it," he said of child number two.

"It's a little more relaxed when you have your next one, but that also has its own set of challenges, particularly around dinner time when [wife] Ange is at work. I'm holding a baby with a bottle in his mouth and I have to organise Riley's dinner and organise my dinner. Most of the time Ange doesn't end up getting any dinner.

"It's great with Riley now because he's at a very manageable, fun age. We're talking to each other and it's always fun watching his brain tick over."
