RHYS Martin firmly believes an NBL title is still in the Illawarra Hawks sights after signing for another two years on Monday.

Fending off interest from the new Brisbane team, the Hawks secured the experienced point guard, a significant boost after losing Kevin Lisch to Sydney.
Martin has played 192 games for the Hawks and believes the best is yet to come after making the NBL semi-finals last season under coach Rob Beveridge.
“You can see that (Bevo) is starting to get the core back together with me at the point, AJ at the centre,” Martin said.
“With a few more guys close to signing we will get that stability you need and I’m sure if we recruit the right imports there’s no reason why we can’t go further than we did last season.
“I love it here. This is home and it has been for some time now so it was always my priority to stay with the Hawks.
"My family is settled, I've made some fantastic relationships here and I'm looking forward to playing 10 years
Martin is the second Hawks signing, after AJ Ogilvy committed to three more years.
Beveridge will coach the Hawks for four seasons, after knocking back an approach from the Sydney Kings.
After missing the start of the NBL season with a knee injury last year, Martin played 18 games, averaging 10 points and 4.17 assists (third in the league), while shooting over 40 per cent from the field.
