Reckless battled a monster tiger shark for close on 10 hours to unfortunately lose it in the end with all crew calling it for over 500 kilos and during the fight, a sizeable blue marlin swam up the shark burley trail and took a cast lure.
Tailwalker captured a mako of 133 kilos on 8 after a six-hour battle with congratulations to Brooke on her first capture.
Getting Snappy captured a 99.8 kilo black marlin and many other club boats tagged sharks, marlin and yellowfin with the shelf water temp holding still around the 23 degree mark. Club meeting tonight at 7.30pm at Warilla Bowling Club.
DPI/Fisheries have advised the Crowdy Head FAD has been replaced, however the recently replaced Shellharbour FAD and the Sydney Harbour FAD are now missing.

Mark from Kiama GFC reported the offshore waters from straight out the front to further south produced a hot striped marlin last weekend.
Andrew Wilson fishing with Craig Rushby, tagged a nice striped and went on to say that they recorded over 20 solid “fishy” returns from the sounder readings.
Other boats that worked the same area were all hooked up at various stages with multiple tags to a few boats and they also reported huge schools of slimy mackerel. Slow trolling rigged live slimies produced the required results.
