Turning organic waste into a valuable resource will be the focus of workshops held by Shellharbour Council as part of International Composting Awareness Week (May 2-8). A free sausage sizzle will be held at Tullimbar Community Garden on May 3 (5pm) and Warilla Neighbourhood Centre May 5 (5pm) to learn more about FOGO – the Food Organics, Garden Organics weekly collection service the council is introducing on July 1. A free Earthworks Course will be held at Shell Cove Community Centre on May 10 (1-4pm).
