After failing to place at four previous attempts when resuming, the five-year-old strode to a 1-¾ length triumph in the Nimaka Ptd Ltd Benchmark 65 Handicap (1400m) at Kembla Grange.
“I called the owners this morning and told them to have a little something on him because I was pretty keen on him,” Parker told Sky Racing.
Red Dubawi was ridden positively from a tricky barrier by apprentice Andrew Adkins and found a spot outside the leader.
He lengthened nicely in the straight to beat Peter Robl’s Run Louie Run. John Sargent’s Colosseum King was third.
The victory was Parker’s fourth for the 2015-16 season at Kembla Grange. It leaves him second in the Kembla premiership behind Gwenda Markwell (19 winners).
