The NSW NPL Men’s 1 club were made to work hard, but held off a gritty Bulli outfit, who could have got more from the match on another occasion.
Despite being less-fancied, the Illawarra Premier League club took the lead after 31 minutes when Sam Davies scored a well taken goal from inside the 18-yard.
Ricky Zucco leveled the score for the Wolves from the penalty spot six minutes later before Peter Simonoski bagged the winner midway through the second half.
Bulli had several huge chances to send the game to extra time but failed to find the target.
The Wolves will play the winner of Wagga City Wanderers match against Gladesville Ryde Magic which has been listed as TBD by Football NSW social media platforms.
In Wednesday’s other game, Wollongong United were bundled out as they fell 2-0 to Sydney Olympic.
