Bridge, 30, has been with the Wanderers since their very first match in 2012 and has been an integral part of the squad that has made three grand finals in four seasons, playing as both a striker and left-winger.

However, the Penrith-raised forward has long been thought to be headed for the exit at the end of this season as he looks to land a final pay-day on which to secure his future.

While speculation was abuzz that he would be headed to the cashed-up Chinese Super League this off-season, sources close to the player revealed on Sunday that he had received an offer from the northern Thailand club that would more than double his present salary with the Wanderers.

Although the money on offer in Thailand is not quite at the same level as China, the domestic football market there is booming, punctuated by several of the nation's most powerful businessman buying up clubs and investing vast sums of money.

Bridge had a small taste of Asian club football during his time with Sydney FC, accepting a loan deal at Chinese club Tianjin Teda that ultimately proved unsuccessful.

However, a transfer fee between the Wanderers and Changrai has not been finalised as yet and Bridge, who scored 25 goals in 95 games with the Wanderers, cannot move anyway until the opening of the Thai transfer window in June.

But the Wanderers have long been aware of Bridge's desire to move abroad and were understood to have promised to agree to a transfer if a fair offer came in for his services - but only at the end of the last A-League campaign.

The same understanding is thought to have been struck with Bridge's close friend, Nikolai Topor-Stanley, who is eyeing an even more profitable move to China. He was rumoured to have been the subject of a $3 million offer from Beijing Guoan last December.

The Wanderers have already released Liam Reddy, Alberto, Andreu, Golgol Mebrahtu, Matt Sim, Piovaccari and Romeo Castelen from the squad that made it all the way to this year's A-League grand final, losing 3-1 to Adelaide United.
