More than 500,000 children in 3000 locations across Australia will celebrate reading on Wednesday as part of national simultaneous story time. An annual event organised by the Australian Library and Information Association, it aims to encourage more young Australian’s to read and enjoy books.

Warilla Library will take part in the event with Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba reading the book I Got This Hat at 10.45am and again at 11.30am.
