After scoring just a few hours earlier in the under-20’s, Dimoski came off the bench to help the Wolves salvage a valuable point at Hensley Athletic Centre.
It cancelled out Lee Jones free-kick on the hour mark and guided Wollongong to back-to-back draws away from home.
“It was fairly even game,” Wollongong coach Jacob Timpano said post match.
“We went into the game with pretty much a starting eleven of first graders and a bench that played 90-minutes in the 20’s.
“It was probably a game that we needed a bit of spark off the bench or someone who could change the game but unfortunately, to no fault of the boys, we didn’t have any fresh subs.
“We just had to grind away.
“It was probably a fair result in the end but given our circumstances on the day it was probably a good point.”
Playing without David Stojic, Ben Zucco, Ricky Zucco, Peter Simonoski and Darcy Madden, the Wolves toiled hard in the first half to go into the break at 0-0.
The hosts went ahead in the 60th minute when Jones curled his free-kick around the wall and into the bottom corner.
Wollongong got their equaliser at the death, just sixty seconds after Hakoah’s Brad Walker was handed a straight red card.
Josh MacDonald took the resulting free-kick which deflected off the wall to Dimoski’s feet, who hammered into the back of the net.
