Staff, members and friends chipped in making cup cakes, sausage rolls and other yummy food to help raise funds for the Cancer Council NSW.
“We are collecting money in May and June,” Mrs Naumovski said.
“Westfund is matching dollar for dollar what we raise. Our target is $2500 and I think we are already up there. I think we will get closer to $5000. All our regional branches are holding a morning tea. Everyone is touched by cancer one way or another. There is no escaping that. So the more funds we can raise to get some kind of funding to help find a cure the better.”
When Renate Swan heard about what the Westfund team were doing she produced some of her home made sausage rolls.
“We feel more like friends than members,” she said.
