A motorcyclist has been flown to Sydney's St George Hospital in a serious condition with head injuries following an accident on the North Kiama bypass this morning.
Paramedics were called to the scene around 10.20am following reports of a collision between two motorcyclists just south of the Nungarry rest area.
The second motorcyclist was reported to be uninjured.
The Ambulance Medical Rescue Helicopter landed in the nearby rest area to transport the man to St George Hospital.
Delays were experienced as traffic on the highway was reduced to one lane over an hour-long period as emergency services cleared the scene.
