Perth Scorchers and Australian batsman Shaun Marsh and TV journo wife Rebecca welcomed their first child on Friday night.
Shaun, 32, is the son of former Australian opener Geoff Marsh and both he and younger brother Mitch have represented the country in Test, one-day international and T20 formats.
If Austin was to grow up and play cricket at the top level, it would make history as the the first time three generations of one family had represented Australia.
