The Harrison family wants to mark the occasion with a special dinner event where it will launch a recipe book called “Signature Dishes”. The Lagoon Seafood Restaurant is considered an iconic Wollongong restaurant because it has been the scene of so many milestones for local families over the last three decades.
Restaurant manager Andrew Harrison and marketing manager Jonni Nicolaou want to hold a celebratory event to not only honour their parents Vania and George Harrison for starting the restaurant. But for all the people who have dined at the Lagoon over the last three decades. They also want to recognise the hundreds if not thousands of people who have worked at the restaurant over the years. Many diners and staff have sent in photos of their Lagoon memories and tickets to the birthday dinner featuring Shannon Noll will go on sale soon.
