Voters in the electorates of Cunningham and Whitlam (formerly Throsby) can cast their votes at 153 Keira Street, Wollongong – the old Workout World building – from 8.30am on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, pre-polling will be available at the Dapto Ribbonwood Centre (Cunningham and Whitlam) from next Monday, while Whitlam voters can also utilise a centre on Bong Bong Street, Bowral.
Gilmore pre-polls are located in Warilla, Kiama, Nowra, Ulladulla and Batemans Bay. Opening hours and start dates vary.
The Nowra and Warilla centres are open from Tuesday, with pre-polling at Kiama, Ulladulla and Batemans Bay to start next Monday.
The 16 candidates contesting the Illawarra’s three federal electorates are among 1625 people vying for election on July 2.

EARLY VOTING ELIGIBILITY
You can vote early either in person or by post if on election day you:
- are outside the electorate where you are enrolled to vote
- are more than 8km from a polling place
- are travelling
- are unable to leave your workplace to vote
- are seriously ill, infirm or due to give birth shortly (or caring for someone who is)
- are a patient in hospital and can't vote at the hospital
- have religious beliefs that prevent you from attending a polling place
- are in prison serving a sentence of less than three years or otherwise detained
- are a silent elector
- have a reasonable fear for your safety.
