A 19-year-old man has died in a collision between two cars on Appin Road this morning.
The teenage driver, who held a provisional licence, was driving a Hyundai coupe east on Appin Road about 7.45am when the car collided with an oncoming Holden Rodeo ute.
The 19-year-old died in the crash. The driver of the ute, a 55-year-old man, was transported by paramedics to St George Hospital, where he is receiving treatment for internal injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.

Appin Road has now reopened and there are no delays expected for motorists.
