The Perth Scorchers say they are still waiting to hear back from veteran spinner and crowd hero Brad Hogg about his playing future, as the Melbourne Renegades reportedly jockey for his signature.

Hogg has become a cult hero of the Big Bash League - both in Perth and around around the country - since coming out of retirement to playing in the domestic Twenty20 competition in 2011, after more than two years in retirement.
The 45-year-old has played for the Scorchers in each of the five seasons since, including Perth championships in the third and fourth editions of the BBL.
But although the Scorchers are believed to be keen to sign him for this summer, The West Australian on Tuesday reported the Renegades were pitching a bigger money offer to Hogg.
WACA chief executive Christina Matthews said Hogg had not yet informed the Scorchers of his future plans.
"We are not aware of the details of any offer made to Brad by other BBL teams and are awaiting further information regarding his playing future," she said.
Hogg's remarkable T20 fortunes in his 40s have included playing for the Australian team as recently as 2014 and becoming the oldest player in Indian Premier League history, at the age of 44 in April 2015.
