The last time the Wollongong singer, who mostly performs in Sydney, shared her gift of music at home she got everyone in the restaurant up and dancing. Next Friday will be extra special for her with son Aleks Koneski a part of the band playing Serbian music.
Ms Uzelac is well known in Wollongong as a highly skilled hair stylist at Hairhouse Warehouse. Her singing career started when she got up and surprised everyone at a Sydney singing competition. She has always wanted more opportunities to perform in Wollongong and this is the third time Gigi's Restaurant has invited her to put on a Serbian Band Night. Among the audience in 2015 was entertainer Graham Wilson who enjoyed the show just days after surgery for brain cancer. Ms Uzelac followed up with visits to him in Wollongong hospital.
