I would not suggest members of the Coalition be sent too the public hospital system, but to a psychiatrist given their poor showing in the 2016 Federal Election.
I remind Ben, that Medicare loses money and is therefore a waste of time being sold off to private interests.
Secondly, the Coalition have looked at contracting "out" the payment system of Medicare in order to make it more efficient which Labor also seriously considered when in office, yet how interesting that Labor were not accused of privatising Medicare?
Thirdly, Labor and their socialist supporters all ignore the fact that bulk-billing rates are the highest they have ever been under the Coalition. So the compassion continues despite Labor lies.

Iraq findings revealing
It would be interesting to know whether former Australian prime minister John Howard bothered to watch Sir John Chilcot GCB.
PC, hand down the findings of the UK Inquiry into invasion of Iraq in 2003.
Findings highly critical of the then UK prime minister Tony Blair for his failure to to ensure prior to any involvement by the UK in the invasion of Iraq, was both justified and legal.
After consideration of the evidence, the Inquiry found no substantive evidence supporting allegations Saddam Hussein possessed WMD.
A finding which called into question UK government claims Iraq had WMD which, would take only 45 minutes to reach the UK!
It was also revealed, PM Blair had gone against the advice of the UN Security Council which had indicated, existing sanctions against Iraq and diplomatic measures were more effective than any military involvement.
The Inquiry found that the UK government; had no exit strategy in place when, as a member of the US led “Coalition of the willing” it illegally invaded Iraq and subsequently, Afghanistan.
Change the UK to Australia, Tony Blair to John Howard and the need for a similar Inquiry in Australia becomes patently obvious!

Wrong priorities?
Wollongong’s tourism boss Mark Sleigh has welcomed a “long overdue” $43 million overhaul to regional tourism from the NSW Government.
Tourism be damned — can you imagine how much the Illawarra region would benefit from a $43 million funding injection into the finance coffers of Wollongong and Shellharbour hospitals.
Mike Baird may as well throw his $43 million into the water of North Wollongong beach and watch it float out to sea.
His priorities are not community orientated. Mike Baird would rather waste taxpayer’s money on “entrepreneur styled” frivolous whims than the urgent needs of ratepayers.
Gareth Ward take note.

Hanson show is to blame?
In his letter of July 6th Barry Swan made some interesting comments in relation to the election of Pauline Hanson.
Mr Swan blamed changes to the senate voting system, supported by the Greens, for the re-emergence of One Nation.
In Queensland Pauline Hanson polled in excess of 10 per cent.
Under the senate voting rules in place at the beginning of the year in a double dissolution election this would have ensured her election.
I too am disappointed with Ms Hanson's election. However, it is not the fault of the Greens, or as a result of the changes to the voting system.
