The Grange Golf Club has announced that Troon Golf Management’s Scott McCaw is the new golf operations manager of the Kembla Grange club.

Mr McCaw is relocating to Wollongong from his current role as general manager of Troon’s Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates.
He brings with him more than 16 years’ experience in managing upscale golf operations internationally.
Mr McCaw has been with Troon for eight years managing clubs in the Azores, Morocco and Abu Dhabi.
Gary Tozer, Club President of Dapto Leagues and The Grange club president Gary Tozer said his appointment comes at a pivotol time with work nearing completion of the first phase of our the clubhouse and function facilities at The Grange.
“His expertise in building a range of successful golf clubs across the globe is vital to our vision of bringing domestic and international golf tourism to the Illawarra region,” Mr Tozer said.
Mr McCaw will arrive in mid August.
His wife is from Australia and they have twin girls.
“I jumped at this opportunity to be part of a progressive club like The Grange and to move to Australia,” he said.
“My background has been working in various regions increasing golf participation both locally and internationally, increasing awareness and driving membership to clubs. With improved function facilities, The Grange is transforming from a great golf venue to more a regional golf and country club for the whole community through the joint hospitality management of Dapto Leagues team. I look forward to introducing myself to The Grange’s member base and other key stakeholders in the coming weeks.”
Dapto Leagues Club and The Grange chief executive David Hiscox said Mr McCaw’s appointment was testament to the strong relationship that had been forged with Troon since the announcement of our $7 million refurbishment of The Grange Golf Club in May.
“As a seasoned expert in international golf facility management with a proven track record in driving growth, we are delighted to be welcoming Scott to the team,” Mr Hiscox said.
