The match marks a complete round of NSW NPL football since the Wolves’ last victory in the top flight.
Since securing a convincing 3-1 victory over the Sharks at WIN Stadium in the first week of May, Wollongong have secured just four draws and had sixes losses as injuries and suspensions took their toll.
It’s seen them fall into a relegation battle and just one point clear of the bottom of the table.
There will be no better time for the club to turn things around than against their rivals at Seymour Shaw Park.
“It’s been a tough couple of months but despite not winning recently, I am confident the boys have what it takes to get a result,” Wolves coach Jacob Timpano said.
“This last month is a big one for everyone at the club and we are keen to start it on the right note against the Sharks.”
