More than a hundred children trained and played with their heroes at a sellout Wollongong Hawks school holiday basketball clinic at the Snakepit.
This year the Hawks clinics have been extremely popular with 110 kids aged six to 14 enjoying more than four hours with their favourite basketball team.
It was the first clinic for the Hawks' three new players this season - American imports Lance Hurdle and Adris Deleon, and Auryn MacMillan - and they proved especially popular.
The players went through basketball basics from dribbling, to passing, defending and shooting.
The next clinic will be in the January 2013 school holidays with details towards the end of Term 4 on the Hawks' website at hawks. com.au
