Wests won 16-6 with an impressive hitting display ending the argument with Shoalhaven Mariners.
Cards marched to an 8-nil lead after just four innings, but Mariners hit back with two in the fifth innings and four in the sixth. At 10-6, Shoalhaven were preparing for one last push with the bat, but were instead blown away by another Cardinals onslaught. Nathan Grogan was the stand out hitting 2-4.
Cardinals' pitcher Scott Sartori started with four standout innings, including four hits and four strike outs and only one run conceded.
Mariners' starter Brenton McMahon had to battle throughout his six innings giving up 10 runs, eight of them earned.
Meanwhile, the Dapto Chiefs and Northern Pirates clash at Hector Harvey Park was abandoned on Saturday, after the infield was deemed unplayable.
