In just his second top-grade appearance Milne brought some much needed attacking spark to the Dragons floundering attack and was widely praised by fans on social media post-match.

Coach Paul McGregor praised the performances of Milne and the re-called Adam Quinlan following the loss.

“They’re been playing good footy in reserve grade and they got a good opportunity that’s a good way of looking at [Sunday],” McGregor said.

“Taane was probably our best. He didn’t carry anything into the game he just wanted to go out there and play his natural game.

“He did that well and he caused [the Tigers] a few headaches and Quinny at the back had some really good touches so they were two real positives to come out of the game.”
