The British singer played Opera House as part of Vivid festival in 2015 but – according to tour dates published on Wednesday – will not be returning to the capital city when he visits in October.
Instead, dates for his Australian shows would take Morrissey to Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Wollongong and Newcastle.
The Wollongong show is listed for October 29 at the WIN Entertainment Centre.
The tour dates were revealed on fan zine True To You, which is considered a top source for all things Moririssey.
Influential music publisher Pitchfork has republished the world tour dates, however no official release has been issued.
The tour would also include shows in Asia and the United States.
