Police appeal after boy approached in Bellambi

Police have appealed to the public after a boy was last night approached by a man in Bellambi.

About 6.30pm, a seven-year-old boy was walking along Staithes Mews near Bellambi Point when a small white sedan with four men pulled alongside him.

The driver attempted to entice him into the car, however the boy yelled at him before running home and informing his mother.

The driver was described as a man in his 30s with short dark hair.

He was unshaven, had a tattoo on his neck and was wearing a light-coloured shirt.
