Chief executive Debra Murphy said it was a great opportunity for new and aspiring leaders to come together, learn and grow. It is not only the individual participants who benefit, but the region and employers. LIP executive officer Karen Bain said there is less than two weeks to express an interest in the next two year program featuring master classes, leadership coaching, mentoring support and site visits. It’s the third time the program has been run with the help of mentors and business leaders who donate their time as speakers and tour hosts. LIP is supported by the University of Wollongong’s Sydney Business School and The Illawarra Connection. RDA Illawarra is offering a scholarship to an emerging leader from the not-for-profit, community or social enterprise sectors.
