McGrath Estate Agents Wollongong is among four top performers for the Medium Real Estate Agency category. MMJ Real Estate is up against five others for the Small Commercial Agency award.

Martin Morris & Jones first opened in 1960 with five employees, growing to a workforce of 50 under the revised banner of MMJ Wollongong.

“We’ve put together an amazing team of hard working, skilled and experienced commercial personnel over a number of years and we truly believe that this team is second to none and this nomination is a reflection of that,” said commercial sales director Tim Jones.

The announcement comes as McGrath recently celebrated being named “most outstanding regional office” at its organisation’s national awards. 

“It's been an exciting year for us. Both co-principal Jordan and I are very humbled,” principal Trever Molenaar said. 

“None of this is possible without a passionate team of people who do great things.”

REINSW president John Cunningham said the achievement of being recognised as a finalist is highly valued by both consumers and the profession.

“This year’s awards program sees 21 categories spanning all facets of our industry including innovation, community service, residential and commercial professionals, as well as rising stars and auctioneers,” Mr Cunningham said.

“Being nominated … is the most significant accolade a real estate agent operating in our state can receive.”

The awards will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton in Sydney on October 13.

It comes after Amanda Bonnici or Ray White Shellharbour Village was last week named one of Australia’s top women in real estate.

Ms Bonnici was ranked 44th  in the country after selling more than $66 million worth of property in the last calendar year.
