A knife-wielding burglar, wearing nothing but a bandanna and underpants, has allegedly threatened a couple after breaking into their Nowra home.
Police are investigating the aggravated break and enter after the man allegedly entered the Wallace St home via the back door around 8.40pm on Saturday.
The couple said they were watching TV when the semi-naked man, armed with a knife, yelled at the pair and grabbed a purse.
He subsequently dropped the purse and ran out the front door.
Police were called to the house, where they established a crime scene.
The Police Dog Unit also attended and conducted a search of the area but was unable to locate the man.
