Lock Hayden Lomax, second-rower Trent Peoples and halfback Jackson Willis have all agreed to a further two seasons at the club, while fullback Steve Marsters has signed a three year deal.
The Steelers lost this year’s SG Ball grand final 25-10 to Penrith after finishing second on the ladder with eight wins and one loss.
“It is very pleasing to see these three members of the outstanding Illawarra Steelers' SG Ball Grand Final team all opt to continue their footballing development with the club,” Dragons pathways director Ian Millward said.
“All four players were highly sought after and have already been involved in various representative squads for their age-level.
“Each player has displayed a keen desire to continue their learning and we all look forward to seeing their development continue.”
Lomax won the Steelers player of the year award and was also brought into the Dragons under 20 squad.
