Yellowfin tuna were reported in better quantities just over the 70 fathom line and were willing to take trolled lures as more than a few boats had multiple hookups.
Big albacore were also about and were taken on both trolled lures and cubed pillies in a burley trail.
The water from Kiama south to Jervis Bay looked good and fishy as the current pretty much pushed west closer into shore.
If your boat is not big enough or tuna fishing is not your thing, the good news is the snapper fishing has moved into top gear and is starting to fire along the 30 to 40 metre depth line.
This area just south of Gerringong was found to be holding some cracker fish.
