Both the NYC and Cutters sides have secured top four finishes and will feature in their respective finals series’.
Dufty has featured in both line-ups this season and prove an attacking X Factor at NYC and Intrust Super Premiership level.
The Penshurst RSL junior revealed first grade coach Paul McGregor left him make his own decision on which title to pursue.
“Personally, head coach Paul McGregor gave me the choice recently to see whether I wanted to end my season with the Cutters or with the NYC team,” Dufty said.
“I’ve been with the NYC team for ninety percent of the season so I thought I owed it to the boys to finish the year off with them.
“Playing with the Cutters though was an experience and I learnt a lot off the bigger men so I just wanted to come back here and play the best I could to hopefully win the NYC title.”
