After a stint in the Caribbean Twenty20 competition, Maddinson blasted a century for Australia A in Mackay.
Batting at No.3, Maddinson finished with 118 off 116 balls in a 229-run partnership with NSW teammate Kurtis Patterson, as Australia A scored 6-322 in the one-day clash with India A.
Maddinson blasted four sixes and nine fours, while Patterson made 115 off 123 balls, dominating the Indian bowling.
Last month, Dapto junior and NSW coach Trent Johnston has backed Maddinson top fulfill his international potential in coming seasons.
Maddinson has played in the Australian T20 team and is set to feature in the Sheffield Shield match in Wollongong. The match starts three days after Australa’s final T20 against Sri Lanka, which comes after Test series’ against South Africa and Pakistan.
