Pre-poll voting has begun at The Pavilion.
Pre-poll opened on August 29 and closes at 6pm on Friday, September 9.
Postal vote applications close 5pm on Monday.
Polling places will be open from 8am to 6pm on Saturday, September 10.
Polling places are as follows: Gerringong Town Hall, Gerroa Neighbourhood Centre, Jamberoo Public School, Kiama High School, Minnamurra Public School, North Kiama Neighbourhood Centre, Sydney Town Hall, The Pavilion and Werri Beach Progress Hall.
Six teams have registered to contest the local government elections in Kiama.
The order in which the teams will appear on the ballot paper is as follows: (A) Kiama Independents; (B) Honey/Westhoff; (C) the Greens; (D) Community and Labor; (E) Experience Counts; and Community Voices (F).
Seven of the nine current Kiama councillors will re-contest election.
Mayor Brian Petschler and Cr Dennis Seage won’t be seeking another term.
A ‘Kiama Council Candidate Forum’ Facebook page has also been launched for residents to interact with candidates.
