A note was stuck inside a window of the Lawrence Hargrave Drive shop’s window in August advising of change.
“End of an era … times will never be the same again.”
The shop’s manager confirmed the business was on the table, though the landlord wanted it to remain as a junk/bric-a-brac store.
The landmark has been filled with everything you could imagine from rusty bicycles, to old type-writers, antique furniture, records, boats and everything in between – making it a regular stop for day-trippers.
