Wollongong off-season recruits Lance Hurdle and Adris Deleon are growing increasingly comfortable with their roles.
Deleon racked up 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in Sunday's win over Townsville, while fellow import guard Hurdle finished with nine points, two assists and a steal.
"Me and Lance are fitting into the team real good and now we're just trying to find ourselves out there," Deleon said.
"The first game I was trying to go all the time and now I'm getting kind of used to it. They're giving me the ball when there's 10 on the shot-clock because that's when I need to go.
"If I go when there's 20 on the clock, that's when everybody's out of place.
"You can get any shot you want to, but it's just picking and choosing when to shoot and when not to. That's what me and Lance have to figure out and say 'Oh, this is my time'.
"That's what we're trying to do and I think we're doing a pretty good job, and the guys are doing a good job of trying to find us and get us comfortable and strong," he said.
"Even on defence, it's the same thing. They try to help us and tell us where we should be. We're getting real comfortable."
