The region’s newest models maintained their poise and didn’t miss a beat after all the training of recent weeks. And the hundreds of people gathered in Crown Street Mall initially thought it must be part of the show.
The Illawarra Mercury would love to know who Freddie is, who he is dressed by, who did his hair, how much he has raised for charity and why he did it?
Following his appearance 11 more models were named to proceed to the next stage of of the Highlights on Mental Health fundraising initiative. The semi-finals will be staged in the mall on September 10 a day after the organising committee runs a mental health in the workplace corporate luncheon at Centro CBD.
That will include a panel discussion headed by Lifeline Australia chairman John Brogden who is also the managing director and chief executive of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
A European runway show will then be held at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach on October 8 and gala dinner finale at the University Hall on October 22.
