Jamberoo dominated the opening exchanges, having multiple chances on the Bulldogs’ line.
However, Milton-Ulladulla broke the deadlock two minutes before half-time, when the dynamic Emily Burke scooted over from dummy-half.
Ebony Murray failed the conversion from near the right touchline and the score remained 4-nil until the break.
In the second half, the Roos continued to dominate possession but couldn’t turn it into points.
Against the run of play, speedster Brooke Smith broke the Dogs’ defensive line on halfway and beat the cover defence of Burke to score in front of the Jamberoo faithful.
Kicker Abby McParland held her nerve and converted the try.
