Most were caught blind trolling until the boat found the fish rather than attracting them with a burley trail as there were heaps of sharks out there.
The entrance along the northern wall still saw the luderick aficionados plying their skills with good success on green weed.
Some early Lake flatties were pulled on the drifts between weed patches and some anglers found it very successful to cast and jig soft plastics in front of the track their boat was drifting as no takes were made if the boat shadow passed over the same spots.
The same patchy sandy areas were fished with live nippers, worms and fresh prawns for some late winter whiting and fresh clean bream.
