WOLLONGONG HIGH HITS 100
This lady is a legend - she has totally inspired my child this year and I don't doubt there are many hundreds of other kids that have had the same experience. Thanks for everything you've done.
SHELLHARBOUR COUNCIL TO APPEAL COURT RULING
I'd like to think they could win, because I don't want them in Wollongong City Council creating chaos. However, it seems as though Shellharbour council just cannot accept reality and are determined to cause as much trouble as possible for everyone.
WOLLONGONG’S FRIDAY MARKETS TO CHANGE HANDS
I won't be visiting the markets anymore. Thanks for putting profit before the community once again Wollongong City Council.
Government organisations are duty bound to call competitive tenders to ensure probity issues are met. To continue to give favourite treatment to one group at the expense of all others is considered - corruption.
The markets are not an asset "owned" by council. They are an activity that was approved through a development application lodged by the current market owners 14 years ago. Their business is being given to another operator. This is a very disappointing outcome. I hope the future markets can match the character and friendliness of Jenny and Lara and I am disappointed for those loyal stall holders who will no longer be part of the markets.

What a shame for Jenny and Lara. While I fully support the Foragers markets, it seems that they will have a monopoly on the city's markets now. Anyhow, I hope the organisers take this opportunity to bring in a stall that provides plant based, non-dairy meals, because at the moment there are none.
